Another week come and gone

Boy we had a crazy week! Mike was busy training at the airport for our new SWA account and also busy drug and alcohol testing other airport employees 4 days straight. Mike and I spent 10 hours on Tuesday training for a new Clinical Trial for fetal genetic testing and then corporate took us to a very nice(but long) dinner at Sushi Samba. We got to try a bunch of stuff I would never have chosen on my own and for the most part it was very very good. I do not eat things that are raw but this place had so many other types of cuisine that I actually enjoyed it.
Since that full day of training and eating out took up so much time-I spent the next 3 days working 830a-10pm, 730a-630p, 830a-8pm. Mike worked every day last week including both days this weekend and on Thursday he worked a good 14 hours! Even Cody was busy. He thought he was getting 2 "free" days since school was only Tues-Thurs for him and Shellie. But nope-I had him working in my office 10 hours on friday. And yes-he gets paid. You would have to ask him if he thinks its worth it. Shellie was the only one not busy. Well not busy with work. She played with friends, had a friend sleep over, got her hair colored and cut(Kudos to Kelli), went out for frozen yogurt and of course Zumba class. All in all, we are glad that week is over. This week should be a little calmer. Mike still has several days & nights of testing at the airport. And I hope to be off work in time to attend the Temple with the ladies on Tuesday, attend our cooking group on Wednesday, Zumba on Thursday, get Cody ready for his Scout camp overnighter this Friday(snow boarding) and then spend Saturday working with Mike at the airport all day. Wow-that didn't sound much calmer than last week!! But hey we are not complaining. After all, what would we do if we had free time? Its so much better to keep busy anyway. We are thankful we have jobs that keep us busy, great kids to come home to, and health & strength to keep us going. Our family is very very blessed!
